The Madhvani has invested Shs700 million into University scholarships for the 2016/17 education year.

This has been revealed while announcing the scholarships available this year. The event was hosted at Makerere University main campus, Kampala.

Beatrice Apoto, an administrator at Madhvani Foundation said, “I have watched the scholarship evolve from Shs 300 million in 2003 to Shs 700 million todate; and at the same time, I have observed the value added to over 2000 underprivileged students who have continuosly benefitted from this scholarships in Uganda over the years. I have celebrated, continue to, with many students who had lost all hope of attaining a degree.” ...
