Madhvani offers $250,000 Scholarships

KAMPALA, UGANDA – The Madhvani Foundation has announced availability of UShs500 million (about $250,000) for their Annual Scholarships 2009/2010.
The Scholarships are for undergraduate and post-graduate Ugandan students to study at various Ugandan Universities.
The Scholarships are for students entering their second year of study.
Submission of applications online or in hardware, will close May 31, 2009.
Madhvani Scholarship Committee Chairman, Henry Kyemba last Wednesday said since reinstitution in 2003 with UShs3 million, the education trust has educated 540 university students with over UShs1.3 billion.
The Trust targets needy students and encourages them to work with Madhvani Group upon graduation.
