I would like to use this opportunity to convoy my sincere appreciation for the scholarship Opportunity that enabled me finish my studies smoothly. Being a total orphan without both parents and only supported by an Uncle, tuition was always a nightmare. The situation became worse when my Uncle retired from work and could no longer afford my University dues consequently my performance started declining from CGPA of 4.63 to 4.53 to 4.48. But after getting the Scholarship I improved from 4.48 to 4.56 and finally 4.61 which is a First Class Degree. Well done Muljibhai Madhvani Foundation.I grew up and studied in Kakira, went to Madhvani Primary School, Madhvani Secondary School from where I was one of the best students; joined Kabalega Secondary School in Masindi and subsequently Makerere University. I pride myself as one of the many who enjoyed the health/education/recreational facilities the company had for its employees. My dad was like many who served the company a very dedicated Stores Manager. In todays modern world of corporate social responsibility, Madhvani is a champion.I am a now a Management Consultant in the UK, a publisher and sit on various UK based NGO committees creating opportunities for disadvantaged African people in the UK and promoting the kind of values the Madhvani Foundation espouses.
